In the southwest of Zanzibar there is a secluded conservation area with some of the best diving on the island. This newly recognized World Wild Life Conservation area at Menai Bay offers some of the best opportunities to see rejuvenating aquatic and terrestrial life. Not only is the area full of sea life but there are also seven uninhabited islands filled with Mangrove lagoons, Baobab trees, and rare Coconut crabs.
What makes this Menai Bay area special is there is only one dive center that operates here; Fumba Blue World Diving, at Fumba Beach Lodge. This gives you the chance to have a dive or snorkel amongst the turquoise blue waters all to yourself!
